Abstract

In this study, researcher analyzed the Bad Moms Movie Script by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The background of this research emerged based on the film script by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore that showed the main character experiencing psychological conflict. It is related to his personal life. Then, this study has three formulations of the problem regarding how the form of psychological conflict experienced by the main character, the factor of psychological conflict in the main character and the result of psychological conflict in the main character, in the script of bad moms by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The theory used in this study uses Kurt Lewin's conflict psychology theory by using a qualitative method because of its compatibility with the object of the film script, this method will produce a narrative in the form of decryption, not in the form of numbers. In addition, this study uses a literary psychology approach to look for data related to psychological conflicts of the main character, because to be able to understand more deeply the conflicts that occur in this film script requires a deeper understanding of psychology in each character, then in this study, a literary psychology approach is used. The conclusions of the study are as follows. The results of this study indicate that the main character experience psychological conflict in the form of Approach-Approach Conflict, Approach Avoidance Conflict, Avoidance-Avoidance Conflict, and Multiple Approach Avoidance Conflict. Two factors, namely: personal factors and situational factors that cause frustration, disappointment, Powerlessness, and anger.
