Abstract

This research is inspired based on the fact that most students are difficult to use English articles. They sometimes get bored with the way how to teach article that is employed by the teachers in teaching grammar. Besides, the student’s anxiety about the article, they are also bored with the lesson. The result, most of the students have low scores on English. It is usually faced by the eighth grade because they difficulties in understanding the article. The purpose of this research to Improve student’s ability in using article before applying animation video, To Improve student’s ability in using article after applying animation video, To Improve student’s ability in using article before and after animation video. In this study the design of this study uses a quantitative approach and uses the type of experimental research. The population in this research were all VII grade students of Al-Islam Middle School in 2019/2020 school year. Sampling in this study used the technique of no random sampling. In this study data collection using pre-test and post-test that serves to identify differences in the value of student learning outcomes and creativity in problem solving, The results of this research are. (1) The influence before using video animation media in the grammar article learning process, the results obtained from the significance value of more than 0.05, the significance value of 0.646; (2) There is an influence of learning grammar article, the results obtained
