Abstract
INDONESIA : Covid-19 merupakan sebuah virus baru yang saat ini menjadi sebuah pandemi besar yang melanda diseluruh dunia, virus ini menyerang khususnya ke area saluran pernafasan yakni paru-paru yang menyebabkan penyakit infeksi saluran pernapasan pada manusia. Pemerintah daerah khususnya pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Purwakarta berupaya melakukan pencegahan covid-19 melalui berbagai cara salah satunya bekerjasama dengan beberapa dinas terkait yakni Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika yang menyebarkan informasi dan memberikan edukasi-edukasi mengenai apa itu covid-19 bagaimana cara pencegahannya dan apabila terinfeksi apa yang harus dilakukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pesan,feedback, dan media apa sajayang disampaikan dalam penyebaran informasi mengenai pencegahan covid-19 di Kabupaten Purwakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan model two way asymmetrical yang dikemukakan oleh James Gruning dan Todd Hunt yang merupakan salah satu model public Relations, model ini berasumsi bahwa dalam praktiknya pihak Public Relations menyampaikan pesan kepada masyarakat berdasarkan hasil riset serta strategi ilmiah untuk mempersuasi publik, agar efek yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan harapan organisasi terkait. Paragdima yang digunakan paragdima konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif,adapun terkait pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika dalam penyebaran informasi terkait pencegahan covid-19 di Kabupaten Purwakarta, pertama Pesan yang disampaikan oleh Humas Kabupaten Purwakarta dalam penyebaran informasi mengenai pencegahan covid-19 yakni pesan verbal. Kedua Feedback dari masyarakat atas pesan yang disampaikan oleh Humas Kabupaten Purwakarta terbagi tiga yaitu feedback positif, feedback negatif dan zero feedback. Ketiga Media yang digunakan dalam pencegahan Covid-19 di Kabupaten Purwakarta menggunakan media konvesional baik cetak maupun elektronik sedangkan media baru menggunakan sosial media. ENGLISH : Covid-19 is a new virus that is currently a major pandemic that is sweeping across the world, this virus attacks especially the respiratory tract area, namely the lungs which causes respiratory tract infections in humans. The local government, especially the Purwakarta district government, is trying to prevent covid-19 through various ways, one of which is by collaborating with several related agencies, namely the communication and informatics office, which disseminates information and provides education about what Covid-19 is, how to prevent it and if it is infected. which must be done. This study aims to find out how messages, feedback, and media are conveyed in disseminating information regarding the prevention of covid-19 in Purwakarta Regency This study uses the two-way asymmetrical model proposed by James Gruning and Todd Hunt which is one of the public Relations models, this model assumes that in practice the Public Relations party conveys messages to the public based on research results and scientific strategies to persuade the public, so that the resulting effect in accordance with the expectations of the relevant organization. The paradigm used is the constructivism paradigm with a qualitative approach and using descriptive analysis methods, as for data collection by means of interviews and documentation. The results of research conducted by the Communications and Information Technology Office in disseminating information related to the prevention of covid-19 in Purwakarta Regency, firstly, the message conveyed by the Public Relations of Purwakarta Regency in disseminating information regarding the prevention of COVID-19 was divided into two parts, namely verbal. Second, feedback from the public on the message conveyed by the Public Relations of Purwakarta Regency is divided into three, namely positive feedback, negative feedback and zero feedback. The three media used in preventing Covid-19 in Purwakarta Regency use conventional media, both print and electronic, while new media uses social media.
