Abstract

The Department of Islamic Community Development with the empowerment of human resources, economics, and the environment as core competencies have an important role in society with the existence of Covid 19 that occurs in Indonesia that has a big impact on the religious field, especially in the mosque. The purpose of this research is to find out how the empowerment model of the mosque in facing the impact of Covid 19. Action research was used as the method of the research that combines the collection and processing of data with the empowerment process in parallel. The results of this study found that the conclusion of the pro cons of Jama'ah by developing the synergy between DKM, HIRA, and religious figures with a persuasive approach to foster a spirit of cooperation and generate a mutual agreement. In addition to the empowerment model of Al-Mu'minuun mosque congregation in the face of the impact of Covid 19 adjusted to the stage of the research cycle which divided into three areas namely, empowerment of health, economic and religious. To conclude, the empowerment model developed by DKM Al-Mu'minuun certainly gives a sense of comfort and safety in facing the impact of Covid 19.
