Abstract

ENGLISH : This research aims to identify the form and function of the speech act directive in the film dialogue Wonder Woman. The researcher use Kothari theory to analyze data. This research is content analysis study using a qualitative method. The researcher uses three steps in collecting data, namely browsing the internet, watching movies and finally saving script or subtitles. Then, the technique of analyzing data uses three steps, namely identifying, classifying and interpreting. The results of this study are related to directive speech acts seen from aspects of form and function. In the film dialogue Wonder Woman found five forms of directive speech acts, namely command, request, invitation, advice, criticism, and prohibition. Judging from the directive speech acts function, the dialogue film Wonder Woman has a varied function. The form of speech acts command has govern and order functions. The form of speech acts of request has functions of demanding, expecting and begging. The form of speech invitation has an ask function. The form of speech acts of advice have the function of advising and suggesting. Forms of speech acts of criticism have a rebuked function. The form of speech acts of prohibition has the function of banning. It can be concluded that the utterances spoken in the film Wonder Woman by Patty Jeakins often appear in the form of commands. Abstrak INDONESIA : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk dan fungsi direktif tindak tutur dalam dialog film Wonder Peneliti menggunakan teori Kothari untuk menganalisis data. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian analisis isi dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan tiga langkah dalam mengumpulkan data, yaitu menjelajah internet, menonton film dan akhirnya menyimpan naskah atau subtitle. Kemudian, teknik menganalisis data menggunakan tiga langkah, yaitu mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasikan dan menafsirkan. Hasil penelitian ini terkait dengan tindak tutur direktif dilihat dari aspek bentuk dan fungsi. Dalam dialog film "Wonder Woman" ditemukan lima bentuk tindak tutur direktif, yaitu perintah, permintaan, ajakan, nasihat, kritik, dan larangan. Dilihat dari fungsi tindak tutur direktif, film dialog "Wonder Woman" memiliki fungsi yang beragam. Bentuk perintah tindak tutur memiliki fungsi memerintah dan menyuruh. Bentuk tindak tutur permintaan memiliki fungsi meminta, mengharap dan memohon. Bentuk ajakan wicara memiliki fungsi mengajak. Bentuk tindak tutur nasihat memiliki fungsi menasihati dan menyarankan. Bentuk tindak tutur kritik memiliki fungsi menegur. Bentuk tindak tutur larangan memiliki fungsi melarang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ucapan yang diucapkan dalam film Wonder Woman oleh Patty Jeakins sering muncul dalam bentuk perintah.
