Abstract

This study is based on the problem of low mastery of concepts students in Biology, especially materials ecosystems. This study aims to determine the effect of the type of peer lesson learning strategies to increase learners' mastery of concepts Biology class VII on ecosystems material at Junior High School 11 Bandar Lampung. The population in this research were students of class VII Junior High School 11 Bandar Lampung Year 2014/2016. This research is a Quasi Experiment and research design Pretest-Posttest control group design, and the sampling technique is done by cluster random sampling. Based on t-test gate t = 4,029, while table = 1,674, tarithmetic > ttable then H0 and H1 accepted. Then it can be concluded that active learning strategies provide the type of peer influence significant lesson on mastering the concept Biology class VII students of Junior High School 11 Bandar Lampung 2014/2015 school year on materials ecosystems
