This research is a case study based on a Muslim small community in Ciamis-West Java-Indonesia. Data is collected through interviews, observations, and text reviews. The results showed that the response of Muslims to the COVID-19 outbreak was different. Muslim responses to this virus can be categorized into at least five typologies. The five typologies are irrational-passive, irrational-activehater, semi-rational-supportive, rational-diffident, and rational-active-supportive.
