Abstract
Humans at this time can not be separated from their needs in finding information, one of which is the search for information is about attractions. there are many media that already provide tourist information, but only general and comprehensive information is provided, and does not directly provide specific information. Questions given will be repeated from every visitor who comes. Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a branch of Artificial Intelligence that gives computers the ability to read, understand and derive the meaning from human language. One of the implementations of NLP is Chatbot application. Chatbot is a computer program that can provide answers quickly and accurately to visitors. The method used in this study is Random Forest (RF) as an intent classifier and Rapid Automatic Keyword Extraction (RAKE) as an entity recognizer. Evaluation of the model produced by the RF and RAKE algorithms has an overall accuracy value of 98% with an average precision of 96% and an average recall of 96%. These results were obtained from 150 training data and 44 test data. This shows that Chatbot as a Virtual Travel Assistant can provide answers well.
