Abstract

INDONESIA : PT. Unilever Indonesia merupakan perusahaan Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) terkemuka di Indonesia dimana produk-produknya terjual secara cepat dengan harga relatif murah yang produknya adalah kebutuhan sehari-hari. Produk yang dipakai setiap hari menyebabkan dampak lingkungan dari kemasan tidak terpakai menjadi sebuah masalah. Program Binaan Bank Sampah adalah salah satu program untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan dari penggunaan produk perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana PT. Unilever Indonesia mengimplementasikan corporate social responsibility melalui program bank sampah. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep tahapan implementasi corporate social responsibility Nor Hadi. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah konstruktivisme yang bertujuan untuk memaknai makna-makna yang diungkapkan informan yang tidak dapat digeneralisir. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif yang bertujuan memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara utuh dan menyeluruh dalam bentuk kata-kata terhadap suatu fenomena. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif, karena penulis ingin mengeksplorasi dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana tahapan dalam mengimplementasikan corporate social responsibility. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara mendalam. Hasil dan pembahasan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pengimplementasian corporate social responsibility PT. Unilever Indonesia melalui program bank sampah diawali dengan tahap perencanaan, yang berisi penentuan visi dan misi yang mengacu pada visi dan misi perusahaan dan juga pemetaan wilayah yang memiliki standarisasi berdasarkan minat masyarakat untuk mengelola sampah secara mandiri. Tahap kedua adalah pelaksanaan atau tahap implementasi dengan bekerja sama dengan pihak-pihak lain, seperti Yayasan Rumah Pelangi dan Suku Dinas Lingkungan Hidup. Bentuk binaan yang diberikan berupa pemberian pendidikan dan pelatihan mengenai pengelolaan sampah, pemberian alat timbang, pemberian dana binaan, pemberian buku tabungan, pemberian produk-produk PT. Unilever Indonesia sebagai alat sosialisasi. Tahap terakhir, yaitu monitoring dan evaluasi yang dilakukan setiap bulan melalui kumpulan rutin, pelaporan setiap bulan danmemberikan penghargaan melalui kegiatan Green & Clean. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa PT. Unilever Indonesia telah mengimplementasikan corporate social responsibility melalui program bank sampah sesuai dengan konsep tahapan implementasi corporate social responsibility dari Nor Hadi. ENGLISH : PT. Unilever Indonesia is a leading Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company in Indonesia where products are sold quickly at relatively low prices whose products are daily necessities. Products that are used every day cause the environmental impact of unused packaging to be a problem. The Waste Bank Assistance Programme is one of the programs to reduce the environmental impact of using the company's products. This research aims to determine how Unilever Indonesia implements corporate social responsibility through the waste bank programme. This research uses a concept of the implementation corporate social responsibility stages by Nor Hadi. The paradigm used in this research is constructivism which aims to interpret the meanings expressed by informants that cannot be generalized. The approach used is qualitative which aims to understand the phenomena experienced by the research subject as a whole and comprehensively in the form of words towards a phenomenon. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis, because the writer wants to explore and describe the stages in implementing corporate social responsibility. The data collection technique used was in-depth interviews. The results and discussion in this research indicate that the implementation of corporate social responsibility activities at Unilever Indonesia through the waste bank programme begins with the planning stage, which contains the determination of a vision and mission that is based on the company's vision and mission as well as standardized of mapping areas based on people's interest in managing waste independently. The second stage is the implementation stage in collaboration with other parties, such as the Rumah Pelangi Foundation and the Environmental Office. The form of guidance given is in the form of education and training regarding waste management, given weighing equipment, given funds, given savings books, given products of Unilever Indonesia as a socialization tool. The last stage, namely monitoring and evaluation which is carried out every month through a routine activity as a forum for sharing experiences of waste bank managers and for collecting monthly reports to the waste bank supervisor. Unilever Indonesia provides awards through Green & Clean activities. Based on the research results, it was concluded that Unilever Indonesia has implemented corporate social responsibility through the waste bank programme following Nor Hadi's corporate social responsibility implementation concept.
