Abstract
INDONESIA : Mahasiswa adalah individu yang sedang belajar dan menekuni ilmu yang ditempuhnya, mahasiswa yang berasal dari luar kota biasanya lebih memilih tempat tinggal di rumah kost, di asrama yang telah disediakan oleh universitas serta pondok pesantren. Salah satunya mahasiswa yang memilih tempat tinggal di pondok pesantren dengan mengikuti rutinitas yang biasa dilakukan di pondok pesantren. Dalam penelitian ini, mahasiswa dituntut untuk dapat mengatur waktunya dengan baik dan menentukan nasibnya masing-masing yang disebut sebagai self determination, self regulated learning turut mempegaruhi keberhasilan dalam mencapai prestasi belajar yang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah self regualted learning dapat menjadi variabel mediator dalam pengaruh self determination terhadap prestasi belajar pada mahasiswa yang tinggal di pondok pesantren. Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 224 subjek. Pegambilan data menggunakan 3 skala, yaitu skala self determination, self regulated learning dan prestasi belajar. berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan program Lisrel 8.80 didapatkan hasil dalam hipotesis pertama diperoleh nilai t statistik sebesar 0.56 tidak terdapat pengaruh, hipotesis kedua diperoleh nilai t statistik 1.19 tidak terdapat pengaruh, hipotesis ketiga memperoleh nilai t statistik sebesar 5.45 terdapat pengaruh, dan hipotesis terakhir memperoleh nilai t statistik sebesar 1.52, artinya Self regulated learning tidak memediasi pengaruh self determination terhadap prestasi belajar. ENGLISH : Students are individuals who are studying and devote themselves to the subject, students who come from outsidecities usually prefer to live in boarding houses, in dormitorieswhich has been provided by universities and Islamic boarding schools. One of students who choose a place to live in a boarding school by following the routine that is usually done in boarding schools. In this study, students are required to be able to manage his time well and determine his own destiny each of which is called self determination, self regulated learning also influences success in achieving achievement optimal learning. This study aims to determine whether self-regualted learning can be a mediator variable in the effect of self determination on learning achievement at students who live in Islamic boarding schools. Subject in research this amounted to 224 subjects. Retrieval of data using 3 scales, namely self-determination scale, self regulated learning and achievement study. based on the results of calculations using the Lisrel program 8.80 obtained the results in the first hypothesis obtained by the value of t statistic of 0.56 there is no effect, the second hypothesis obtained statistical t value 1.19 there is no effect, the third hypothesis obtain a statistical t value of 5.45 there is influence, and the last hypothesis obtained a statistical t value of 1.52, that is Self regulated learning does not mediate the effect of self determination on learning achievement.
