Abstract
Until now days, there are still persons misunderstanding the movement of tarekat (an order of mistics). As a result, they don’t want to follow an order of mistics. For the adherents of an order of mistics, generally speaking they don’t understand yet the definition of an order of mistics, its origins and development, its type, the benefits of following an order of mistics, and its influence to Islamic world. The writing studies in all of aspects of tarekat mentioned above by using historical analysis.
