Abstract
Watersheds is a land that has the potential to be the source of water. This river has some components are human, land, plants, water and climate change. All of the components are very related to each other. The problems that are often found in the area of the river is sedimentation caused by the waste in the river, flooded land around the river due to the flow of the river which restricted garbage, and the potential for soil erosion that is greater than the other areas. The multitude of human activity in the vicinity of the river that is located in the West Campus UIN II, influential against the pollution of the waters of the river and reduce the quality of the water, apart from human activity also caused by climate change that has already experienced the changes. There is a need for the conservation of the land and the water that watersheds and land which is located in the vicinity of the river can be used and become a productive land. The conservation of the land and water around the river and campuses UIN II need to be ongoing because there are many things that must be managed and carried out conservation. As in the case of agricultural flooded land if when torrential rains, many waste streams and rivers flow supply depletion due to the waste of human activity.
