Abstract

ENGLISH : Language is a communication tool used by humans to communicate with each other. With human language convey all forms of expression. Language consists of various groups of users, including the soccer supporters group. In this study, the attributes of the Persib supporters group (Bobotoh) were the object of this study. The attributes of Persib supporters are the focus of researchers to analyze elements that contain fanaticism. Besides that, all forms of attributes, be it choreography, clothes, flags, banners and others, are visual signs that communicate something. Each of these signs has a different meaning, and also depends on the point of view of the observer. In this study, the researcher used Roland Barthes' semiotic approach by analyzing denotation, connotation, and myth. Researchers also used qualitative methods with purposive sampling method which concentrated on things that contained an element of fanaticism in the attributes of Persib supporters. This study aims to find the meaning context and type of sign in the Bobotoh attribute. This study found several findings: attributes as elements of fanaticism, slogans that express motivation, pride, disappointment, loyalty, totality, criticism, and satire. Bobotoh also showed their creativity by making various kinds of choreography during the Persib match. This is based on the matters contained in the Bobotoh attribute. Based on the results that have been obtained from this research, it is hoped that it can be taken into consideration for further semiotic research that examines the meaning context contained in the football supporters attributes. INDONESIA : Bahasa merupakan alat komunikasi yang digunakan oleh manusia untuk berkomunikasi satu sama lain. Dengan bahasa manusia menyampaikan segala bentuk expresinya. bahsa terdiri dari berbagai kelompok penggunanya, tak terkecuali kelompok supporter sepak bola. dalam penelitian ini, atribut kelompok supporter persib (Bobotoh) menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini. atribut supporter Persib menjadi fokus peneliti untuk menganalisa unsur yang mengandung fanatisme. disamping itu, segala bentuk atribute baik itu koreografi, pakaian, bendera, spanduk dan lain-lain merupakan tanda visual yang mengkomunikasikan sesuatu. masing-masing dari tanda tersebut memiliki arti yang berbeda-beda, dan juga tergantung pada sudut pandang pengamatnya. dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan semiotik Roland Barthes dengan menganalisa denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. peneliti juga menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan metode purposive sampling yang berkonsen pada hal-hal yang mengandung unsur fanatisme pada atribut suporter persib. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan konteks makna, dan tipe tanda pada atribut Bobotoh. penelitian ini menemukan beberapa temuan: atribute sebagai unsur fanatisme, slogan yang mengekspresikan motifasi, kebanggan, kekecewaan, loyalitas, totalitas, kritik, dan sindiran. Bobotoh juga memperlihatkan creatifitas mereka dengan membuat berbagai macam koreografi ketika pertandingan Persib berlangsung. hal ini didasarkan pada hal-hal yang terkandung dalam atribute Bobotoh. berdasarkan hasil yang sudah diperoleh dari penelitian ini, diharapkan bisa dijadikan bahan pertimbangan bagi penelitian semiotik selanjutnya yang mengkaji tentang kontek makna yang terdapat pada atribut suporter sepak bola.
