Abstract
Information technology-based archiving is a memory center and source of information for organizations where the archives themselves have the function and advantage of the handling system, namely the smooth running of an organizational activity. Archives can be used as documentation material, save time, money and effort, reminders, and can be used as a storage tool for documents. The purpose of this research is to determine how much influence the creation has on the work efficiency of employees; the effect of archive utilization on employee work efficiency; the effect of storage and recovery on employee work efficiency and the effect of destruction on employee work efficiency. The author uses information technology-based archiving theory from Soetrisno and Brisma which can be measured based on creation; archive utilization; storage and recovery; removal and destruction. While the employee work efficiency theory from Armida Silvia Asriel where the work efficiency of employees consist of thoughts; power; time; space and things. The research methods uses an associative method with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used was by distributing questionnaries to 25 respondents. The statistical test used is validity testing, reliability testing, multiple linear regression analysis, partial test analysis (t-test), simultaneous test analysis (F-test), and analysis of the coefficient of determination. Based on the results of research with a level of 0.05/5%, the dimension of creation (X1) partially affects the work efficiency of employees with t count > t table (2.583>2.085). In addition, from the dimensions of archive utilization (X2) partially affects the work efficiency of employees with t count> t table (3,311> 2,085). From the dimensions of storage and recovery (X3) partially affects the work efficiency of employees with t count> t table (3.238> 2.085). Meanwhile, from the dimension of transfer (X4) on the work efficiency of employees partially affect the work efficiency of employees with t count> t table (2.188> 2.085). Furthermore, the dimension of separation (X5) partially affects the work efficiency of employees with t count> t table (4.708> 2.085). As for the five dimensions regarding information technology-based archiving, the R Square is 0.547 or 54.7%. While the remaining 45.3% is influenced by factors outside the study.
