Abstract
Penggunaan listrik sudah menjadi kebutuhan utama bagi semua masyarakat. Besar pemakaian energi listrik oleh setiap konsumen dapat diukur dengan menggunakan suatu alat pengukur energi listrik yaitu meter kWh, seperti yang dilakukan oleh Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) pada tiap – tiap pelanggan. Pelanggan akan membayar biaya listrik sesuai dengan nilai meter kWh yang terukur baik secara pascabayar maupun prabayar. Akan tetapi, masih terdapat kelemahan dalam sistem pembayaran daya energi listrik tersebut. Salah satu kelemahannya yaitu pelanggan tidak dapat melakukan pengontrolan pemakaian energi listrik setiap hari karena pelanggan hanya mengetahui besarnya daya yang terpakai ketika telah tiba waktunya pembayaran. Dengan demikian, dirancang sebuah aplikasi monitoring digital rumah tangga menggunakan aplikasi android sebagai penerima data dari kWh meter berbasis arduino yang dikontrol oleh mikrokontroller dan dapat terhubung ke server melalui api service dengan javascript object notation yang dikelola oleh ANTARES. Berdasarkan pengujian dan analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas functionality baik karena 100% fungsi yang dibutuhkan sudah berfungsi. The use of electricity has become a major necessity for all people. The amount of electrical energy consumption by each consumer can be measured using a measuring device for electrical energy, namely the kWh meter, as is done by the State Electricity Company (PLN) for each customer. Customers will pay electricity costs in accordance with the measured kWh meter value both postpaid and prepaid. However, there are still weaknesses in the electricity payment system. One of the weaknesses is that the customers cannot control the use of electrical energy every day because customers only know the amount of power used when the payment is due. Thus, a digital household monitoring application is designed using an android application as a data receiver from an arduino-based kWh meter that is controlled by a microcontroller and can be connected to the server via api service with javascript object notation managed by ANTARES. Based on testing and analysis, it shows that the quality of the functionality is good because 100% of the functions required are functioning.
