Abstract

User Interface (UI) is a visual display of a system design. The UI also serves to move the display so that it can increase user satisfaction. User Experience (UX) is the process of designing a product through a user approach. A product with a good UX design will create an experience for users when using the product, but nowadays there are quite a few developers who make it difficult for software to understand the needs of its users. Therefore, we need a usability approach using the Cognitive Walkthrough method. The first step is to evaluate the UI and UX, and the results of the evaluation are in the form of recommendations for improvements. After that, we performed usability testing to validate the needs and wants of users from the Cognitive Walkthrough results. This study got a pretty good increase with the SEQ UX value of 6, SEQ UI 6.1, and SUS 73,4 from the results of Usability Testing after improvement. User Interface (UI) merupakan tampilan visual design sebuah sistem. UI juga berfungsi untuk memeperindah tampilan sehingga dapat meningkatkan kepuasaan pengguna. User Experience (UX) merupakan proses mendesain suatu produk melalui pendekatan pengguna. Produk dengan desain UX yang baik akan menciptakan pengalaman bagi pengguna saat menggunakan produk, namun dimasa kini cukup banyak developer yang membuat software kesulitan untuk memahami kebutuhan penggunanya.. Maka dari pada itu, diperlukan adanya pendekatan usability dengan menggunakan metode Cognitive Walkthrough. Langkah awal adalah melakukan evaluasi UI dan UX, dan hasil evaluasi itu berupa rekomendasi perbaikan. Setelah itu, dilakukan usability testing untuk validasi kebutuhan dan keinginan pengguna dari hasil Cognitive Walkthrough. Penelitian ini mendapatkan peningkatan yang cukup baik dengan nilai SEQ UX 6, SEQ UI 6,1, Dan SUS 73,4 dari hasil Usability Testing setelah perbaikan.
