Abstract

What is expected by the purpose of educational activities is the development of personality of students is still far from expectations. This requires a new concept in reconstructing the concept of formal education that exist today to lead to the formation of character or morals, so it will emerge spiritual-religious values on students. MTs Karangpawitan Garut Islamic Union seeks to maximize the interaction of cognitive education is not partial, but much of it is they are trying to internalize the values of the Qur'an as God's revelation to be applied in behavior or morals. This study focuses on efforts to get an idea or phenomenon in the formation of character through Tahfidz Koran that occurred in Pesantren Persis Level Tsanawiyah Karangpawitan Garut.
