Abstract

INDONESIA : Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan temuan masalah karena metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan yaitu ceramah dan kurang bervariasi guru lebih banyak memberikan informasi dari pada siswa yang mencari sendiri. Sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn. Hal ini disebabkan siswa cenderung bosan dan kurang aktif dalam proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Sehingga berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman siswa. Oleh karena itu maka perlu inovasi yang bervariasi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran agar dapat menarik perhatian siswa, sehingga ketika di dalam kelas siswa lebih aktif dan merasa senang dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian 1. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman siswa sebelum menerapkan metode card sort. 2. Untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan metode card sort. 3. Untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman belajar siswa setelah menerapkan metode card sort. Penelitian yang diterapkan didasarkan dengan pemikiran bahwa metode card sort dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa, dipengaruhi dengan beberapa faktor, diantaranya menggunakan metode yang tepat yaitu dengan menerapkan metode card sort. Oleh karena itu peneliti menduga bahwa penerapan metode card sort diduga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran PKn materi makna simbol Pancasila dan pengamalannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dua siklus. subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV MI Tarbiyatush Shibyan Kabupaten Bekasi dengan jumlah siswa 17 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar observasi guru dan siswa, dan untuk mengetahui pemahaman siswa dengan menggunakan tes soal uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman siswa sebelum menerapkan metode card sort memperoleh hasil 23% dengan kriteria cukup. Aktivitas guru siklus 1 memperoleh hasil 82% dengan kriteria baik. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus 1 memperoleh hasil 74,9% dengan kriteria baik. Aktivitas guru pada siklus II memperoleh hasil 98% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus II memperoleh hasil 91,6% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Kemampuan pemahaman siswa dengan menerapkan metode card sort, ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus 1 mencapai 53% dengan kriteria baik dan pada siklus II mencapai hasil 88,2% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Dapat disimpulkan dari data yang diperoleh bahwa metode card sort dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahmana siswa.   ENGLISH : The background of this research with the findings of a problem because the learning method applied is less berpariatif teacher lectures and more information from the students who look for yourself. Thus causing the lack of understanding of students on the subjects of Civics. It is because students tend to get bored and less active in the process of learning activities. Therefore contributes to the students' understanding. Therefore it is necessary that varies innovation in learning activities in order to attract the attention of students, so that when in class students are more active and take pleasure in participating in learning activities. The research objective 1. To determine the ability of the students' understanding before applying the method of card sort. 2. To determine the learning process by applying the method of card sort. 3. To determine the ability of students' understanding after applying the method of card sort. Applied research is based on the premise that the method card sort can enhance students' understanding, is influenced by several factors, including the proper method is to apply the method of card sort. Therefore, we expect that the application of the method of card sort could be expected to improve students' understanding of the learning material Civics Pancasila symbol meaning and its practice. The method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which carried out two cycles, the subjects in this study were students of class IV MI Tarbiyatush Shibyan Bekasi. With the number of students 17 people. The data collection technique using observation sheet teachers and students, and to determine student understanding by using the description about the test. The results showed that the ability of the students' understanding before applying the method of card sort obtain the results 23% with sufficient criteria. Activity Cycle 1 teachers get the results 82% with both criteria. Activities of students in cycle 1 74.9% get results with both criteria. Teacher activity in the second cycle obtain the results of 98% with the criteria very well. Activities of students in the second cycle of 91.6% obtained results with the criteria very well. The ability of students' understanding by applying the method of card sort, classical completeness in cycle 1 was 53% with good criteria and in cycle II reached 88.2% by the results of the criteria very well. It can be concluded from the data obtained that the card method pemahmana sort can improve the ability students.
