Abstract

INDONESIA: Sistem smart farm ialah sistem yang memiliki kemampuan untuk memantau suhu udara, kelembapan udara, suhu tanah, kelembapan tanah, serta penyiraman otomatis pada tanaman cabai yang dapat diakses melalui web. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menerapkan teknologi LoRa pada smart farm agar dapat memantau suhu udara, kelembapan udara, suhu tanah, kelembapan tanah, serta penyiraman otomatis pada tanaman cabai. Alat komunikasi yang digunakan adalah LoRa EBYTE E32. LoRa EBYTE E32 dimanfaatkan sebagai modul komunikasi antara node sensor dengan LoRa gateway. Sistem smart farm berbasis teknologi LoRa dapat berkerja sesuai berdasarkan konfigurasi karena dapat memantau suhu udara, kelembapan udara, suhu tanah, kelembapan tanah, serta penyiraman otomatis pada tanaman cabai yang sesuai dengan konfigurasi yaitu pompa air mampu menyala ketika sensor kelembapan memiliki nilai jangkauan 20%-79% atau dibawah 80% dan pompa air mati ketika nilai kelembapan melebihi 80%. Selanjutnya, jarak cakupan komunikasi antara node sensor dengan LoRa gateway setelah dilakukan pengujian diperoleh jarak maksimumnya adalah 241 meter di area Semi Line of Sight (LOS) sedangkan pada area Non Line of Sight (NLOS) diperoleh jarak maksimum yang lebih rendah yaitu 189 meter, hal ini dikarenakan pada area NLOS terdapat hambatan yang menghambat cakupan sinyal LoRa. ENGLISH: A smart farm system is a system that has the ability to monitor air temperature, humidity, soil temperature, soil moisture, and automatic watering of chili plants that can be accessed via the web. This study aims to apply LoRa technology to smart farms so that they can monitor air temperature, humidity, soil temperature, soil moisture, and automatic watering of chili plants. The communication tool used is LoRa EBYTE E32. LoRa EBYTE E32 is used as a communication module between sensor nodes and LoRa gateway. The smart farm system based on LoRa technology can work according to configuration because it can monitor air temperature, humidity, soil temperature, soil humidity, and automatic watering of chili plants according to the configuration, the water pump is able to turn on when the humidity sensor has a range value of 20%-79% or below 80% and the water pump turns off when the humidity value exceeds 80%. Furthermore, the communication coverage distance between the sensor node and the LoRa gateway after testing is obtained the maximum distance is 241 meters in the Semi Line of Sight (LOS) area while in the Non Line of Sight (NLOS) area the maximum distance is lower, which is 189 meters, this is because in the NLOS area there are obstacles that impede LoRa signal coverage.
