Abstract

INDONESIA : Masih banyak peserta didik yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal dimensi tiga yang ditinjau dari kemampuan spasial sehingga peserta didik melakukan kesalahan. Karena hal itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis kesalahan, faktor penyebab kesalahan, dan solusi dari kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal dimensi tiga yang ditinjau dari kemampuan spasial. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu 27 peserta didik kelas XII di sekolah MAN 1 Cianjur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik adalah data tidak tepat, prosedur tidak tepat, data hilang, simpulan hilang, manipulasi tidak langsung, masalah hierarki keterampilan dan kesalahan lainnya. Jenis kesalahan yang paling banyak dilakukan oleh peserta didik adalah prosedur tidak tepat dengan presentase 62,03% dan termasuk pada kategori kesalahan sangat tinggi. Untuk faktor penyebab kesalahannya antara lain karena peserta didik tidak dapat mengilustrasikan gambar yang telah dideskripsikan dalam soal, tidak memahami konsep, tidak terbiasa dengan soal yang berbeda, dan tidak teliti dalam menghitung operasi matematika. Sehingga, solusi yang dapat digunakan dalam mengatasi kesalahan bisa menggunakan media pembelajaran model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada saat proses pembelajaran dimensi tiga. Media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah alat peraga dan aplikasi wingeom dan geogebra. ENGLISH : There are still many students who have difficulty in solving three-dimensional problems in terms of spatial ability so that students make mistakes. Because of that, the purpose of this research is to find out the types of errors, the factors causing the errors, and the solutions to the mistakes made by the students. The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were 27 students of class XII at MAN 1 Cianjur school. The results showed that the types of errors made by students were inappropriate data, inappropriate procedures, omitted data, omitted conclusion, undirected manipulation, skill hierarchy problem and above other. The type of error that is mostly made by students is improper procedure with a percentage of 62.03% in the very high error category. For the factors causing the error, among others, because students cannot illustrate the picture that has been described in the problem, do not understand the concept, are not familiar with different questions, and are not careful in calculating mathematical operations. Thus, the solution that can be used in overcoming errors can be using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning media model during the three-dimensional learning process. Learning media that can be used are teaching aids and applications such as Wingeom and Geogebra.
