Abstract

INDONESIA : Perkembangan zaman menjadikan industri media televisi mengalami kemajuan yang begitu pesat. Perkembangan teknologi ini mengubah cara kerja para pekerja media khususnya di televisi. Kecepatan dalam mengirimkan hasil liputan para jurnalis langsung dari lapangan dan masyarakat bisa menonton kejadian tersebut secara langsung dengan proses live report. Live report sudah tidak asing lagi bagi para jurnalis, kegiatan melakukan laporan lagsung dari lapangan oleh jurnalis adalah imbas dari kemajuan teknologi, kemajuan teknologi ini harus mampu diimbangi industry televise tidak terkecuali TVRI Jawa Barat. Dalam satu tahun ada satu bulan yang banyak menjadi objek peliputan yaitu di bulan suci ramadhan. Momen ramadhan banyak kegiatan yang harus diliput oleh tv khususnya oleh wartawan TVRI Jawa Barat Kegiatan di bulan suci Ramadan menarik untuk diliput sejak awal penentuan Ramadan hingga penentuan 1 Syawal. Persoalan yang muncul menjadi fokus penelitian ini, yang terkait dengan profesionalisme wartawan agama di TVRI Jawa Barat saat meliput kegiatan-kegiatan keagamaan khususnya di bulan Ramadan, sebab untuk melakukan peliputan peristiwa keagamaan harus dibarengi dengi pemahaman terkait istilah agama dan pemahaman kode etik jurnalitik. Untuk menjawabnya dalam penulisan ini dikupas dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, tradisi penelitian kualitatif. melalui wawancara mendalam dan pengamatan langsung di lapangan dengan narasumber wartawan TVRI Jawa Barat. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa wartawan agama di TVRI Jawa Barat secara garis besar sudah profesional. Namun ada beberapa catatan bagi wartawan junior di mana masih harus lebih banyak belajar untuk memahami kode etik jurnalistik dan istilah agama di bulan suci Ramadan. Sebab wartawan junior masih kurang dalam memahami kode etik jurnalistik maupun istilah keagamaan dalam bulan suci ramadhan. ENGLISH : The development of the times has made the television media industry progress so rapidly. The development of this technology has changed the way media workers work, especially on television. The speed in sending the reports of journalists directly from the field and the public can watch the incident directly with the live report process. Live reports are familiar to journalists, the activity of conducting reports directly from the field by journalists is the impact of technological advances, these technological advances must be able to be balanced by the television industry, including TVRI West Java. In one year there is one month that is the object of coverage, namely in the holy month of Ramadan. The Ramadan moment has many activities that must be covered by TV, especially by West Java TVRI journalists Activities in the holy month of Ramadan are interesting to cover from the beginning of the determination of Ramadan to the determination of 1 Shawwal. The problems that arise are the focus of this research, which are related to the professionalism of religious journalists at TVRI West Java when covering religious activities, especially in the month of Ramadan, because reporting on religious events must be accompanied by an understanding of religious terms and understanding of the journalistic code of ethics. To answer this question, this paper uses a phenomenological approach, a tradition of qualitative research. through in-depth interviews and direct observations in the field with TVRI journalists from West Java. The research concludes that religious journalists at TVRI West Java are generally professional. However, there are some notes for junior journalists where they still have to learn more to understand the journalistic code of ethics and religious terms in the holy month of Ramadan. Because junior journalists are still lacking in understanding the journalistic code of ethics and religious terms in the holy month of Ramadan.
