Abstract

INDONESIA : Peran kepemimpinan kyai yang ada dipondok tersebut menggunakan kepemimpinan transformasional yang bersumber pada kepemimpinan kharismatik dan kultural. Kepemimpinan kyai di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatuth Thalibin Rembang juga dapat menjaga tradisi pesantren yang sudah turun temurun menjadi warisan ulama terdahulu. Kepemimpinan kyai di pondok pesantren tersebut adalah kepemimpinan yang mampu memegang prinsip nilai lokal, dan cakap berinteraksi menghadapi nilai-nilai global dengan memegang prinsip “almuhâfazhatu ‘ala al- qodȋ mi al-ș âlih wal akhȋ du bi al-jadȋ d al-aș lah”. Tujuan penelitian ini mengambil apa saja nilai-nilai tradisi kearifan lokal pesantren, dan permasalahan tentang bagaimana peran kepemimpinan kyai dalam mempertahankan tradisi kearifan lokal pesantren di Pondok Pesantren Raudlatuth Thalibin Rembang, Jawa Tengah. Metode pada penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian bahwa nilai-nilai tradisi kearifan lokal pesantren yang dipertahankan yakni, patron kilen (khidmat), sorogan, bandongan, sowan berkah, rebo wekasan, selametan, tahlil ziarah kubur, bubur syuro’, Sebuah peran kepemimpinan yang kyai terapkan dalam mempertahankan tradisi kearifan lokal pesantren yaitu, kyai sebagai pemimpin pondok pesantren, kyai sebagai figur central pondok pesantren dan kyai sebagai penjaga tradisi kearifan lokal pesantren ENGLISH : Kyai is a leader in a pesantren who is very influential in maintaining the tradition of the pesantren, this tradition is the hallmark of a pesantren and has existed since the Walisongo era. However, along with the development of the times, this distinctive tradition began to be abandoned by some Islamic boarding schools due to several factors, including globalization and technological advances as well as a shift in orientation. This study focuses on the problem of how the leadership role of the kyai in maintaining the tradition of local wisdom of the pesantren at the Raudlatuth Thalibin Islamic Boarding School in Rembang, Central Java. This study uses qualitative research, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. The Raudlatuth Thalibin Islamic Boarding School in Rembang is one of the Salaf Islamic Boarding Schools that focuses on learning tahassus science tools. The kyai's leadership model at the lodge uses a transformational model that is rooted in charismatic and cultural leadership. The leadership of the kyai at the Raudlatuth Thalibin Islamic Boarding School in Rembang can also maintain the pesantren tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation as the legacy of previous scholars. The leadership of the kyai at the Islamic boarding school is leadership that is able to hold the principles of local values, and is capable of interacting with global values by holding the principle of "almuhâfazhatu 'ala al-qodȋ mi al-ș âlih wal akhȋ du bi al-jadȋ d al-aș lah. " In addition, in terms of the learning activities held, it can also be seen that the kyai still maintains the tradition of local wisdom of the pesantren while maintaining the tradition of local wisdom and the learning activities of the pesantren in the form of sorogan, bandongan, lalaran, sowan, blessing, khidmah, yasinan, grave pilgrimage, tahlilan. . A strategy that the kyai applies in maintaining the tradition of local wisdom of the pesantren is, "Instilling monotheism (belief) in his heart an attitude of wara', uswatun hasanah (exemplary) and Riyadloh (kholwat) to every student, board and board of asatidz.
