Abstract

This paper investigates phonological features occur both in English and Arabic language. These features help students in understanding the sounds from those two perspectives. Articulatory phonology is used in describing each feature of vowels and consonants. The method uses contrastive analysis, namely contrasting the different sounds of English and Arabic. The result shows that each sound is produced differently based on the environment of sound produced.
