Abstract
Changing a face-to-face learning process to distance learning requires a change in the media in conveying a lesson, especially in biology subjects which essentially require practicum to conduct experiments. The research aims to develop an determine student’s responses to virtual laboratory based on software construct 2 on blood group material. The method used is R&D, with 4D model being modified into 3D. The instruments used in this study included interview sheets, media and material expert validation sheets, legibility test questionnaire and response questonnaire to develop virtual laboratory media. The results showed that in the definition stage consist of initial analysis, student analysis, material analysis, concept analysis to the formulation of learning objectives. The development stage is the virtual laboratory media and validation by various experts until it becomes a product being tested. The validity of the developed virtual laboratory media got an average score of 88.88% with a very feasible category. The readability test on the virtual laboratory media got an average score of 94.3%. The student’s response to the virtual laboratory media got an average score of 93.2% and was categorized as very feasible, so that media meets the valid requiments as an alternative virtual laboratory media in distance learning.
