Abstract

This study is motivated by life in a family that is bound by marriage between husband and wife who in family life will not always run smoothly, if between the two parties there is no harmony, it could be that the last decision chosen by the husband and wife is divorce. This research is a library whose materials are collected based on data and information with the help of various materials contained in the library, in the form of books, legislation, various literatures, journals, magazines and others. Considering that this study is based on (Libarary Research), the data comes from the literature, both sourced from statutory regulations, legal and non-legal research, and various literatures and journals related to this study. The results of this study are the marriage bond between husband and wife which is carried out at the will of the husband and wife carried out at the will of the husband and wife or because of a religious court decision in the Compilation of Islamic Law Article 177 it says that divorce is a promise of husband and wife at a court hearing and makes breaking of a marriage contract. Divorce itself occurs because it is based on various factors including the incompatibility in the relationship. There are various stages in divorce such as, Co-proprietary Divorce, Legal Divorce, Financial Divorce, Community Divorce, Psycho-Emotional Divorce, and Physical Divorce. While the impact of divorce itself is also very much, especially for the child. As a result of parental divorce, children become victims both physically and psychologically.
