Abstract

INDONESIA : Larutan bewarna dapat diukur menggunakan spektrofotometer begitu pula indikator yang memberikan warna pada rentang pH tertentu, akan tetapi Trayek pH pada suatu indikator sintetik dapat ditentukan secara modern pada umumnya menggunakan Instrumen Spektrofotometer UV-Visible yang belum efisien dalam waktu analisis dan biaya yang dikeluarkan. Hal ini yang mendasari pengembangan metode kolorimetri. Yang terbaru, metode kolorimetri menggunakan kamera digital sebagai instrumen yang melihat larutan dari nilai komposisi warna CMYKnya (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key) pada aplikasi pengolahan foto sehingga bisa dibandingkan dengan literatur. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui metode kolorimetri dapat menentukan trayek pH indikator asam basa, serta menentukan batas deteksi metode ini. Indikator sintetk digunakan sebagai standar sedangkan indikator alami digunakan sebagai sampel untuk spektrofotometri dan kolorimetri. Larutan sampel diukur λ maks menggunakan Spektrofotometer UV-Visible dan larutan dalam kuvet difoto menggunakan kamera digital beresolusi tinggi dengan kondisi lingkungan yang disesuaikan. Hasil foto diolah menggunakan Photoshop 2015 untuk melihat nilai CMYK masing-masing larutan. Nilai ini dikalkulasi sehingga mendapatkan nilai perbandingan intensitas CMYK sampel yang berbeda satu sama lain bergantung pada kepekatan warna masing-masing larutan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa metode kolorimetri menggunakan kamera digital dapat digunakan sebagai metode penentuan trayek pH indikator asam basa dengan syarat perubahan warna dari merah sampai kuning dilihat dari terjadinya perubahan pH sesuai rentang pH masing-masing dan mendekati nilai sebenarnya menandakan kelinearan hubungan antara nilai intensitas CMYK pada hasil foto. ENGLISH : Colored solutions can be measured using spectrophotometry as well as indicators that give color to a certain pH range, but the pH route on a synthetic indicator can be determined in a modern way generally using a UV-Visible Spectrophotometer Instrument that is not efficient in analysis time and costs incurred. This is what underlies the development of colorimetric methods. Most recently, the colorimetric method uses a digital camera as an instrument that sees the solution of its CMYK color composition (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key) in the photo processing application so that it can be compared with the literature. The purpose of this study is to validate the proximity of the measurement results using digital camera colorimetric method with literature, and determine the detection limit of this method. Work solutions for indicators of Methyl Orange, Methyl Red, and Phenolphthalein are used as samples for spectrophotometry and colorimetry. The absorbance sample solution was measured using a UV-Visible Spectrophotometer and the solution in the cuvette was photographed using a high resolution digital camera with adjusted environmental conditions. The photos are processed using Photoshop 2015 to see the CMYK values of each solution. This value is calculated so that the comparison values of the CMYK intensity of the samples differ from each other depending on the color density of each solution. This study concludes that the colorimetric method of the camera can be used as a method of determining the acid-base pH indicator route as seen from the change in pH according to the pH range of each and approaching the actual value indicates the linearity of the relationship between CMYK intensity values on the images.
