Abstract
Pada penerapan internet, banyak sekali manfaat dan inovasi teknologi baru yang hadir untuk memudahkan pekerjaan manusia. Internet memiliki banyak manfaat yang diciptakan namun, hadir pula kejahatan siber yang beriringan dengan inovasi teknologi. Salah satu kejahatan siber yang dapat merugikan yaitu serangan DDOS Attack. Penyerangan tipe ini pernah terjadi pada tahun 2021 di negara Inggris, sehingga melumpuhkan VoIP operator yang berada disana. Serangan ini menjadi salah satu yang mudah untuk dilakukan dan terus berkembang dengan berbagai metodenya. Pada penelitian ini, berupaya mengungkap bagaimana mencegah serangan DDOS menggunakan CDN yaitu Cloudflare. Penelitian ini dapat membantu memahami keefektifan Cloudflare dalam mencegah serangan DDOS Attack terhadap webserver. In the application of the internet, there are many benefits and new technological innovations that are present to facilitate human work. The internet has many benefits created, however, there is also cyber crime that goes hand in hand with technological innovation. One of the cyber crimes that can be detrimental is a DDOS attack. This type of attack happened in 2021 in the UK, thus crippling VoIP operators there. This attack is one that is easy to carry out and continues to grow with various methods. In this study, attempts to uncover how to prevent DDOS attacks using a CDN, namely Cloudflare. This research can help understand the effectiveness of Cloudflare in preventing DDOS attacks against webservers.
