Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas mengenai masalah transportasi untuk menentukan biaya pengiriman dari sumber ke tujuan. Algoritma transportasi terdiri dari dua langkah, yang pertama menentukan solusi layak awal pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Average Opportunity Cost (AOC), Improve Average Penalty Cost (IAPC) dan North West Corner (NWC) yang kedua menguji optimalitas pada penelitian ini menggunakan aplikasi POM-QM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan metode yang memiliki nilai optimal pada kasus seimbang (balance) dan tidak seimbang (unbalance) dengan data range 1-10 dan 1-100, kemudian menganalisis metode AOC dan IAPC apakah dapat menghasilkan solusi yang lebih optimal dibandingkan metode NWC. Langkah awal pengerjaan metode AOC dan IAPC sama yaitu dengan mencari selisih nilai minimum pada baris dan kolom kemudian dikurangi seluruh nilai pada baris dan kolom. Setelah dilakukan analisis dan percobaan terhadap 4 data sekunder dan 400 data random, diperoleh hasil analisis 3 data sekunder dan menunjukan metode AOC menghasilkan nilai minimum dan data yang memiliki biaya transportasi pada range 1-10 seimbang menghasilkan solusi yang lebih optimal menggunakan metode Improve Average Penalty Cost (IAPC), sedangkan untuk data acak dengan rentang 1-100 seimbang dan tidak seimbang solusi lebih optimal menggunakan metode Average Opportunity Cost (AOC). This study discusses the problem of transportation to determine shipping costs from source to destination. . The transport algorithm consists of two steps, the first to determine the initial feasible solution in this study using Average Opportunity Cost Method (AOC), Improve Average Penalty Cost Method (IAPC) dan North West Corner Method (NWC) the second is to test the optimality in this study using the application POM-QM. The purpose of this study is to determine the method that has optimal values ​​in balanced and unbalanced cases with a range of data 1-10 and 1-100, then analyze AOC and IAPC method to see whether it can produce a more optimal solution than the NWC method. First step AOC and IAPC method, namely by finding the minimum value in the row and column and then subtracting all row and column values with the minimum value. After analyzing and experimenting with 4 secondary data and 200 random data results obtained 3 secondary data shows the AOC method produces the minimum value and data that has transportation costs in the range of 1-10 are balanced to produce a more optimal solution using the Improve Average Penalty Cost (IAPC) method, while for random data with a range of 1-10 unbalanced and random data ranging from 1-100 cases, balanced and unbalanced solutions which is more optimal using the Average Opportunity Cost (AOC) method.
