Abstract

Keterampilan komunikasi perlu dikembangkan di era revolusi indistri 4.0. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan pengaruh pendekatan STREAM terhadap keterampilan komunikasi pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia. Metode penelitian mengunakan Mix Methods desain Embedded eksperimental. Sampel dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Intrumen yang diguanakan yakni LKPD, Lembar Observasi, Soal Keterampilan Komunikasi, Angket Kendala Siswa. Hasil penelitian pada Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran diperoleh hasil aktivitas guru sebesar 95,5% berkriteria sangat baik dan siswa sebesar 90,5% berkriteria sangat baik. Peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi kelas eksperimen dengan hasil N-gain sebesar 0,70 berkriteria sedang, nilai tersebut lebih besar dari kelas kontrol dengan nilai N-gain sebesar 0,37 berkriteria rendah. Hasil perhitungan statistik uji Independent Sample T-test menujukan Sig.0,0000 < 0,05, terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Hasil asesmen produk pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berada pada kriteria Baik dan Cukup baik, presentase kriteria Baik lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen. Kendala siswa yang ditemukan dalam pembuatan alat peraga adalah pada tahap memahami permasalahan, ide pembuatan produk, membuat desain langkah kerja, membuat produk dan pengujian terhadap produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pendekatan STREAM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan komunikasi siswa pada materi sistem reproduksi. Communication skills need to be developed in the 4.0 industrial revolution era. This study aims to describe the effect of the STREAM approach on communication skills on the material of the human reproductive system. The research method uses Mix Methods Embedded experimental design. Samples were selected through purposive sampling. The instruments used are LKPD, Observation Sheets, Communication Skills Questions, Student Constraint Questionnaires. The results of the study on the implementation of learning obtained the results of teacher activities of 95.5% very good criteria and 90.5% students having very good criteria. Improved communication skills in the experimental class with an N-gain of 0.70 with moderate criteria, the value is greater than the kontrol class with an N-gain value of 0.37 with low criteria. The results of the statistical calculation of the Independent Sample T-test showed Sig.0.0000 <0.05, there was a significant difference between the experimental and kontrol classes. The results of the product assessment in the experimental and kontrol classes are in the Good and Fair criteria, the percentage of Good criteria is higher in the experimental class. The obstacles students found in making teaching aids were at the stage of understanding the problem, product creation ideas, designing work steps, making products and testing products. The results showed that the STREAM approach had a significant effect on students' communication skills on the material of the reproductive system.
