Abstract

INDONESIA : Politik uang menjadi salah satu permasalahan besar dalam kehidupan politik. Termasuk dalam kehidupan politik Pilkada Kabupaten Bandung tahun 2020. Namun demikian, persepsi masyarakat, seperti masyarakat Kelurahan Baleendah Kecamatan Baleendah, terhadap praktik politik uang tentunya dari setiap individu berbeda. Penelitian ini pertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menggambarkan persepsi masyarakat terhadap politik uang tersebut. Pada penelitian ini ditunjang dengan teori-teori yang berkaitan dengan money politic, menurut burhanuddin sendiri politik uang adalah suatu proses yang saling menguntungkan pada pemilihan umum dimana hal tersebut dilakukan dalam upaya untuk memperoleh hak suara dan dukungan sebanyak-banyaknya, dan dengan teori persepsi, faktor yang mempengaruhi persepsi. Hasil penelitian ini meenunjukkan bahwa politik uang yang terjadi di Kelurahan Baleendah, Kecamatan Baleendah tahun 2020 berlangsung dalam bentuk pertukan hak suara dengan sejumlah uang atau sembako, dilakukan secara cash to cash atau dor to dor. Dari perbedaan pandangan setiap individu memiliki Persepsi akan politik uang beragam, bagi kebanyakan masyarakat Kelurahan Baleendah berpendapat bahwa politik uang tidak seharushnya terjadi dan beranggapan bahwa politik uang adalah sebuah kecurangan, dan bagi masyarakat yang melihat dari sisi lain berpandangan bahwa politik uang tidak sepenuhnya buruk karena adanya politik uang dapat membantu sedikitnya ekonomi masyarakat. ENGLISH : Money politics is one of the big problems in political life. Included in the political life of the 2020 Bandung Regency Election. However, public perceptions, such as the Baleendah people of Baleendah District, towards the practice of money politics tend to vary. This study aims to determine and describe the public's perception of money politics. This research is supported by theories related to money politics, and by perception theory, the factors that influence perception. The results of this study indicate that money politics that occurred in Baleendah Village, Baleendah District in 2020 took place in the form of an exchange of voting rights with an amount of money or basic necessities, carried out in cash to cash or door to door. People's perceptions of money politics certainly vary, for most people in Baleendah Village, they think that money politics should not happen and think that money politics is a fraud, and for people who see it from the other side, money politics is not entirely bad because money politics can help. the least of the community's economy. The factors that influence people's perception of money politics can be seen from two factors, internal and external factors. Internal factors from the public's perspective on money politics can be seen from the learning process or public education about money politics. Then external factors such as information obtained by the public about money politics and the surrounding environment. The existence of money politics practices that occur makes a long and difficult record of money politics that occurs in every general election.
