Abstract
INDONESIA: Stroberi adalah salah satu tanaman jenis buah-buahan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi, banyak manfaat serta disukai oleh banyak orang. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik, produksi buah stroberi di Indonesia mengalami penurunan yang salah satu penyebabnya adalah ketersediaan benih yang berkualitas dan bebas penyakit. Oleh karena itu, alternatif yang bisa digunakan untuk mendapat bibit stroberi secara massal dengan waktu cepat yaitu dilakukan perbanyakan dengan teknik kultur jaringan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian BAP (Benzyl Amino Purin) terhadap perbanyakan tunas stroberi Fragaria sp. var Sweet Charlie, dan untuk menentukan konsentrasi optimum BAP terhadap multiplikasi stroberi Fragaria sp. var Sweet Charlie. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Kultur Jaringan, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, pada bulan Maret Juni 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 taraf konsentrasi BAP (0; 0,5; 1; 1,5; 2 ppm) serta 3 kali pengulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh konsentrasi BAP terhadap multiplikasi tunas stroberi Fragaria sp. var Sweet Charlie. Komposisi media dengan konsentrasi BAP 1,5 ppm memberikan hasil terbaik pada pertambahan jumlah tunas yaitu 55,4 tunas dan konsentrasi BAP 0,5 ppm memberikan hasil terbaik pada pertambahan jumlah daun yaitu sebanyak 82,4 daun. ENGLISH: Strawberry is a type of fruit plant that has high economic value, many benefits and is liked by many people. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, strawberry production in Indonesia has decreased, one of the reasons being the availability of quality and disease-free seeds.Therefore, an alternative that can be used to obtain mass strawberry seeds in a short time is propagation using tissue culture techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of BAP (Benzyl Amino Purin) strawberry shoots Fragaria sp.var Sweet Charlie, and the optimum concentration of BAP on the multiplication of Fragaria sp. var Sweet Charlie. This research was conducted at the Tissue Culture Laboratory, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, from March to June 2022. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 BAP concentration levels (0; 0.5; 1; 1.5; 2 ppm) and 3 repetitions. The results showed that there was an effect of BAP concentration on the multiplication of Fragaria sp. strawberry shoots. var Sweet Charlie. The composition of the media with a BAP concentration of 1.5 ppm gave the best results for an increase in the number of shoots, namely 55.4 shoots, and a BAP concentration of 0.5 ppm gave the best results for an increase in the number of leaves, namely 82.4 leaves.
