Abstract

Unemployment is one of the big issues in Indonesia’s labour market. Which is due to lack of jobs, inflation, population explosion, or lack of investment, these factors are main reason the unemployment rates to rise, especially in Bandung. Thus, the Bandung City Manpower Service developed 'BIMMA' application to connecting companies and job seekers into one place as an online job fair in order to reduce unemployment rates.This study aims to describe the policies taken by the Bandung City Manpower Service based on included data of BIMMA application.Qualitative research with descriptive approach is used as a method in this study. The data was gathered through structured and semi-structured interviews, observation, documentation, and library research. Data analysis employs a pattern approach from the bottom up in a hierarchical approach, with data triangulation serving as the validity test. According to the result of this study, the data obtained from the BIMMA application is used as statistical data for reports to local government and as an indicator and reference for the agency to create work programs for the following year in the form of open training or internship through competency test on application to reduce unemployment in Bandung.
