Abstract

INDONESIA : Produktivitas zucchini dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan media tanam yang memiliki komposisi yang sesuai. KCL merupakan pupuk yang dapat memberikan kebutuhan kalium bagi tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh kombinasi media tanam dengan pupuk KCL terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman zucchini varietas Jacky Z6. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 2 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan pertama yaitu komposisi media tanam tanah : pupuk kandang kambing : arang sekam 4:0:0 (m0), 2:1:1 (m1), 1:2:1 (m2) dan 1:1:2 (m3). Perlakuan kedua yaitu pupuk KCL 0 kg ha-1 (k0), 150 kg ha-1 (k1), 200 kg ha-1 (k2) dan 250 kg ha-1 (k3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya interaksi antara komposisi media tanam dan pupuk KCL terhadap parameter berat buah pertanaman dan tingkat kemanisan buah dengan kombinasi yang paling optimum yaitu pada pemberian komposisi media tanam (1 tanah : 2 pupuk kandang kambing : 1 arang sekam) dengan pupuk KCL 200 kg ha-1. Perlakuan komposisi media tanam secara mandiri berpengaruh terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, jumlah buah pertanaman, panjang buah pertanaman, berat basah brangkasan, berat kering brangkasan dan nisbah pupus akar. Perlakuan pupuk KCL berpengaruh secara mandiri terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman 21 HST dan jumlah buah pertanaman. ENGLISH : The productivity of zucchini can be increased by using planting media that has a suitable composition. KCL is a fertilizer that can provide potassium for plants. The objective of this research is to study the effect of a combination of planting media with KCL fertilizer on the growth and yield of the zucchini Jacky Z6 varieties. The method used in this study was a randomized block design with 2 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment one was the composition of the soil planting medium: goat manure: husk charcoal 4:0:0 (m0), 2:1:1 (m1), 1:2:1 (m2), and 1:1:2 (m3). The treatment two was KCL fertilizer 0 kg ha-1 (k0), 150 kg ha-1 (k1), 200 kg ha-1 (k2), and 250 kg ha-1 (k3). The results showed that there was an interaction between the composition of the planting media and KCL fertilizer on the weight of the fruit harvested and the level of sweetness of the fruit with the most optimum combination, namely the composition of the planting medium (1 soil : 2 goat manure : 1 husk charcoal) with KCL fertilizer 200 kg ha-1. The treatment of planting media composition independently affected the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of fruit harvested, length of fruit harvested, fresh weight of stover, dry weight of stover, and root shoot ratio. The KCL fertilizer treatment had an independent effect on the parameters of plant height at 21 DAP and the number of fruit harvested.
