Abstract

INDONESIA : Berkembangnya teknologi yang semakin pesat membawa pengaruh bagi kehidupan manusia. Keberadaannya pun membuat pekerjaan-pekerjaan manusia terbantu. Dalam media penyiaran, perkembangan teknologi membuat media penyiaran seperti radio terancam eksistensinya, sehingga diperlukan strategi yang ampuh untuk tetap bertahan di era digital ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi MGT Radio 101.1 FM untuk mempertahankan eksistensinya di era digital. Dimulai dari bagaimana proses pra produksi program MGT Radio 101.1 FM, proses produksi atau pelaksanaan program MGT Radio 101.1 FM, hingga proses pasca produksi program MGT Radio 101.1 FM. Penelitian menggunakan konsep manajemen strategi dari Fred R David yang menjelaskan bahwa dalam strategi terdapat tiga tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Maka peneliti mengkaitkan hasil penelitian MGT Radio 101.1 FM dengan konsep tersebut melalui metode deskriptif dan pendekatan kualitatif serta teknik pengumpulannya melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Peneliti berusaha menggambarkan dan mencirikan suatu fenomena yang ada secara bersamaan, dengan memperhatikan ciri, kualitas, dan keterkaitan antar kegiatan. Dan temuan penelitian ini dikumpulkan berdasarkan fakta yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui strategi apa yang digunakan MGT Radio 101.1 FM untuk memperthankan eksistensinya di era digital. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah peneliti lakukan mengenai strategi adaptasi MGT Radio 101.1 FM untuk mempertahankan eksistensi di era digital menemukan beberapa kesimpulan : Pertama pada tahapan pra produksi, program director dan produser bertanggungjawab untuk menentukan perencanaan program, ide konten serta pembuatan naskah. Kedua pada tahap produksi atau pelaksanaan produksi program MGT Radio yang dilakukan penyiar melalui tiga tahap, yaitu pra on air, on air, dan closing. Ketiga, tahap pasca produksi yaitu tahap akhir dari hasil pra produksi dan produksi serta evaluasi yang dilakukan MGT Radio dalam 3 perode yaitu harian, mingguan dan bulanan. Pada tahap ini seluruh jajaran tim termaksu direksi terlibat. ENGLISH : The rapid development of technology has an impact on human life. Its existence also helps human work. In broadcast media, technological developments threaten broadcast media such as radio, so an effective strategy is needed to survive in this digital era. This study aims to describe how MGT Radio 101.1 FM's strategy is to maintain its existence in the digital era. Starting from the pre-production process of the MGT Radio 101.1 FM program, the production process or implementation of the MGT Radio 101.1 FM program, to the post-production process of the MGT Radio 101.1 FM program. The researcher uses the concept of management strategy from Fred R David who explains that in the strategy there are three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. So the researchers linked the results of Hits Unikom Radio's research with this concept through descriptive methods and qualitative approaches as well as collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. Researchers try to describe and characterize a phenomenon that exists simultaneously, by paying attention to the characteristics, quality, and interrelationships between activities. And the findings of this study were collected based on facts collected through observations, interviews, and documentation which were carried out to find out what strategy MGT Radio 101.1 FM used to maintain its existence in the digital era. The results of the research and discussion that the researchers have carried out regarding the adaptation strategy of MGT Radio 101.1 FM to maintain existence in the digital era found several conclusions: First, at the pre-production stage, the program director and producer are responsible for determining program planning, content ideas and writing scripts. Second, during the production stage or implementation of the production of the MGT Radio program, broadcasters go through three stages, namely pre-on-air, on-air and closing. Third, the post-production stage, namely the final stage of the pre-production and production results as well as evaluations carried out by MGT Radio in 3 periods, namely daily, weekly and monthly. At this stage the entire team including the board of directors is involved.
