Abstract
Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) is one of the horticultural commodities that has a sustainable market need so that production needs to be increased. Declining land quality can be improved again by reducing the use of organic fertilizers combined with liquid organic fertilizer (POC) paitan. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of paitan POC on the efficiency of NPK fertilizer use, eggplant growth and yield. The experiment was conducted at the Agrotechnology Research Field of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The experimental design used in this study was a randomized block design with 11 treatments and 3 replications. The treatment given was paitan POC combined with NPK fertilizer (16-16-16) with each different dose. The results of the study showed that the combination treatment of paitan POC with a dose of 75% and 50% NPK showed quite effective results on the efficiency of NPK Fertilizer Use, Growth and Yield of Eggplant Plants.
