Abstract

INDONESIA : Bawang merah (Allium cepa L.) merupakan komoditas unggulan di Indonesia yang produktivitasnya perlu ditingkatkan karena sering mengalami fluktuasi. Adanya degradasi lahan sawah akibat penggunaan pupuk kimia secara terus menerus akan menurunkan produktivitas lahan. Upaya yang dilakukan dalam mengurangi penggunaan pupuk berbahan kimia adalah penggunaan Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) yang dikombinasikan dengan pupuk kandang kambing. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui interaksi antara PGPR dengan pupuk kandang kambing serta konsentrasi PGPR dan dosis pupuk kandang kambing yang optimal terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah varietas Lokananta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei hingga Oktober 2022 bertempat di lahan sawah Kampung Sukajadi, Desa Nagri Kidul, Kecamatan Purwakarta Kabupaten Purwakarta. Rancanga percobaan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Pola Faktorial yang terdiri atas dua faktor, faktor pertama yaitu konsentrasi PGPR dengan 7 taraf: 0 ml L-1, 5 ml L-1, 10 ml L-1, 15 ml L-1, 20 ml L-1, 25 ml L-1, 30 ml L-1. Faktor kedua yaitu dosis pupuk kandang kambing dengan 5 taraf: 0 t ha-1, 15 t ha-1, 20 t ha-1, 25 t ha-1, 30 t ha-1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi antara pengaplikasian PGPR dengan pupuk kandang kambing terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah umbi per rumpun, umur panen, dan bobot basah umbi per rumpun. Pengaplikasian PGPR dengan konsentrasi 10 ml L-1 dan pupuk kandang kambing 25 t ha-1 memberikan hasil optimal terhadap jumlah umbi per rumpun, umur panen, dan bobot basah umbi per rumpun. ENGLISH : Shallot (Allium cepa L.) is a leading commodity in Indonesia whose productivity needs to be increased because it often fluctuates. The existence of degradation of paddy fields due to the continuous use of chemical fertilizers will reduce land productivity. Efforts made to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers are the use of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) combined with goat manure. The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction between PGPR and goat manure as well as the optimal concentration of PGPR and doses of goat manure on the growth and production of shallot Lokananta variety. This research was conducted from May to October 2022 in the paddy fields of Sukajadi Village, Nagri Kidul Village, Purwakarta District, Purwakarta Regency. The experimental design in this study was a randomized block design with factorial patterns consisting of two factors, the first factor was PGPR concentration with 7 levels: : 0 ml L-1, 5 ml L-1, 10 ml L-1, 15 ml L-1, 20 ml L-1, 25 ml L-1, 30 ml L-1. The second factor was the dose of goat manure with 5 levels: 0 t ha-1, 15 t ha-1, 20 t ha-1, 25 t ha-1, 30 t ha-1. The results showed that there was an interaction between the application of PGPR and goat manure on plant height, number of tubers, harvesting age, and fresh weight of tubers. The application of PGPR with a concentration of 10 ml L-1 and goat manure 25 t ha-1 gave optimal results on the number of tubers, harvested age, and fresh weight of tubers.
