Abstract
MBTI is a personality test that looks at how the brain processes information using cognitive functions. Therefore the topic of this research are (1)What is the typology personality of the Hacksaw Ridge movie characters based on their dialogue according MBTI theory? And (2)Which type of typology personality of most influence character on impact of the movie? This research used qualitative research methods and the data were analyzed using a theory from Carl Jung about 16 MBTI type personality. 7 characters from Hacksaw Ridge movie were analyzed for this research. From the data analysis, the findings found 87 data from the conversation of the characters combine that could tell the MBTI type of each characters. The main character of the movie named Desmond Doss who has the most data as many as 29 data were showing that he is the one who has the impact of the movie. Based on the finding, it can be concluded that there are 6 type of MBTI for each characters based on their data and the typology personality for the most influence character on impact of the movie is INFP, which is Desmond Doss’ MBTI type.
