Abstract

Problems that exist in Madrasah Tsananwiyah Negeri 2 Bandung city in environmental management is the lack of composter tool as a means of environmental management. Constraints from the implementation of the lack of public role in carrying out activities and maintain the achievements that have been achieved as Adiwiyata school. And the evaluation of environmental management has not been documented in the physical assessment. In this study, environmental management has stages of development and commitment of environmental policy, planning, operational, and evaluation periodically. This study aims to obtain comprehensive information about environmental management in school adiwiyata MTs Negeri 2 Bandung city. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Stages of environmental management in MTs Negeri 2 Bandung include: Development and commitment to environmental policy, environmental management plan, operational of environmental management and periodic evaluation of environmental management. The method used in this research is qualitative. Techniques used in data collection include observation, interview and documentation study. Data analysis is done by categorizing data interpretation data. The data validity test is done by extension of participation, observation persistence, triangulation, peer check, negative case analysis, reference adequacy, detailed description and auditing, while the sample is the user of pelakasana environmental activities, and the respondents research is the principal , head of the school adiwiyata development co-ordinator, students of MTs Negeri 2 Bandung and educators MTs Negeri 2 Bandung. The result of the research shows that in MTs Negeri 2 Kota Bandung in overcoming the lack of procurement of composter tool as a means of environmental management is to establish partnership with existing departments in the city of Bandung DLHK (City Environment Agency) to get assistance procurement of environmentally friendly waste trash. And to form KPPL (Community Student Cares Environment) as environmental management plan in MTs Negeri 2 Bandung. Implementation of environmental management is done by training and communication between sectors of Adiwiyata team. DLHK provides training to the community in MTs Negeri 2 Kota Bandung. And the evaluation is documented in the form of Portopolio Adiwiyata MTs Negeri 2 Bandung as an environment-based madrasah. As well as monitoring of environmental management activities by the Master on students. Monitoring results are announced to the school community, in the form of glass waste recycling work and so on.
