Abstract
INDONESIA : Kehadiran internet menuntut praktisi public relations untuk membangun online presence melalui pengelolaan akun media sosial, salah satunya dengan mengelola akun Instagram untuk menghadirkan informasi positif seputar organisasi/lembaga maupun komunitas kepada publik. Cara tersebut dilakukan oleh salah satu komunitas anak muda Kabupaten Purwakarta yakni Urang Purwakarta yang secara aktif mengelola akun Instagram @urangpurwakarta.id dalam mempromosikan potensi Kabupaten Purwakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas digital public relations melalui pengelolaan akun Instagram @urangpurwakarta.id dalam mempromosikan potensi Kabupaten Purwakarta melalui konsep The Circular Model of Some yang digagas oleh Regina Luttrel yang terdiri atas share (membagikan), optimize mengoptimalkan), manage (mengelola), dan engage (melibatkan). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan paradigma konstruktivistik dengan pendekatan kualitatif secara intepretif. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi non partisipan, wawancara yang mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Urang Purwakarta telah melaksanakan aktivitas digital public relations melalui pengelolaan akun Instagram @urangpurwakarta.id dalam mempromosikan potensi Kabupaten Purwakarta, dengan menggunakan konsep The Circular Model of Some yang terdiri atas empat indikator pengelolaan diantaranya Share dalam membagikan konten informatif dengan melalui tahapan identifikasi target audiens dan pemilihan media. Optimize dalam mengoptimalisasikan informasi pada sajian konten informatif dengan melalui tahapan kategorisasi jenis konten, dan standarisasi informasi. Manage dalam melakukan media monitoring yang terbagi ke dalam monitoring dan evaluasi. Engage menjalin keterlibatan publik melalui membangun percakapan dengan publik dan konten kolaborasi. ENGLISH : The presence of the internet requires public relations practitioners to build an online presence through the management of social media accounts, one of which is by managing Instagram accounts to present positive information about organizations/institutions and communities to the public. This method is done by one of the young community of Purwakarta Regency, Urang Purwakarta who actively manages the instagram account @urangpurwakarta.id in promoting the potential of Purwakarta Regency. This study aims to determine the digital public relations activities through the management of instagram account @urangpurwakarta.id in promoting the potential of Purwakarta Regency through the concept of the Circular Model of Some initiated by Regina Luttrel which consists of share (share), optimize (optimize), manage (manage), and engage (involve). This study was conducted using a constructivistic paradigm with a qualitative approach intepretif. The research methods used are descriptive methods with data collection techniques through non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this study can be concluded that Urang Purwakarta has carried out digital public relations activities through instagram account management @urangpurwakarta.id in promoting the potential of Purwakarta Regency, using the concept of the Circular Model of Some which consists of four management indicators including Share in distributing informative content through the stages of target audience identification and media selection. Optimize in optimizing information on the presentation of informative content by going through the stages of categorization of content types, and standardization of information. Manage in conducting media monitoring which is divided into monitoring and evaluation. Engage establishes public engagement through building conversations with the public and collaborative content
