Abstract

Inheritance is the study of who gets the inheritance and who does not get it, the level received by each heir, and the way it is distrisbuted. The question of inheritance is often a crucial thing that sometimes triggered a dispute and caused a crack in a domestic relationship, even to the point of criminal acts such as murder in addressing this inheritance issue. This is due to the difficulty of determining the proportion of each of the heirs and the limitations of the expert in this heir. Islam has arranged the division of inheritance in detail in the Qur'an and al-Hadith in order to avoid disputes among the heirs. In this research, Breadth First Search method is implemented on the search of the heirs who are entitled to get the part by first sorting the heirs who then made the comparison between heirs with one another. The purpose of this study is to build a system that can perform inheritance calculations in accordance with Islamic teachings. Ilmu waris adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang siapa yang mendapatkan warisan dan siapa yang tidak mendapatkannya, kadar yang diterima oleh tiap-tiap ahli waris, dan cara pembagiannya. Persoalan waris sering kali menjadi hal krusial yang terkadang memicu pertikaian dan menimbulkan keretakan dalam hubungan rumah tangga, bahkan bisa sampai berakibat terjadinya tindakan kriminal seperti pembunuhan dalam menyikapi persoalan waris ini. Hal tersebut diakibatkan karena sulitnya menentukan proporsi masing-masing ahli waris dan keterbatasannya pakar dalam ilmu waris ini. Islam telah mengatur pembagian warisan secara rinci dalam al-Qur’an dan al-Hadits agar tidak terjadi perselisihan di antara ahli waris. Pada penelitian ini, metode Breadth First Search diimplementasikan pada pencarian ahli waris yang berhak mendapatkan bagian dengan cara mengurutkan terlebih dahulu para ahli waris yang kemudian dilakukan perbandingan antar ahli waris yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sebuah sistem yang dapat melakukan perhitungan waris sesuai dengan ajaran Islam.
