Abstract
Protokol merupakan seseorang yang melaksanakan tugas di bidang keprotokolan, dan bertanggung jawab dalam mengatur segala bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatan. Protokol erat kaitannya dengan penerapan etiket dalam berdiplomasi dengan pimpinan atau pejabat pemerintahan. Sebagai seorang anggota protokol, citra diri yang positif sangat penting untuk mendapatkan penilaian baik dari orang lain. Dalam lingkungan organisasi, Self Esteem yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan performa kerja dan kesejahteraan anggota. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi apakah terdapat hubungan antara Self Image dengan Self Esteem pada Anggota Korps Protokol Pramuka UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasional dengan uji Pearson Correlation. Data diperoleh dari dua alat ukur yaitu alat ukur Self Image Scale dan Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES). Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh atau sensus dengan jumlah sampel merupakan keseluruhan populasi yaitu 100 orang. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Self Image dan Self Esteem pada anggota Korps Protokol Pramuka UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dengan nilai korelasi sebesar r = 0,715 dan nilai p = 0,000 < 0,05. Artinya, semakin positif Self Image seseorang, semakin tinggi pula Self Esteem yang dimilikinya. Kata Kunci : Citra Diri, Harga Diri, Protokol. Protocol is someone who carries out tasks in the field of protocol and is responsible for organizing all forms of activities. Protocol is closely related to the application of etiquette in diplomacy with leaders or government officials. As a protocol, a positive self-image is very important to get good judgments from others. In the organizational environment, high self-esteem can improve work performance and the well-being of members. Therefore, this study aims to identify whether there is a relationship between self-image and self-esteem among members of the Korps Protokol Pramuka UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This study uses a correlational method with Pearson Correlation test. Data were obtained from two measurement tools,the Self Image Scale and Rosenberg Self Esteem Scale (RSES). The sampling technique used is saturated sampling or census with a sample size of the entire population, which is 100 people. Data analysis showed a significant relationship between self-image and self-esteem among members of the Korps Protokol Pramuka UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, with a correlation value of r = 0.715 and a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05. This means that more positive someone's self-image, their self-esteem will be higher.
