Abstract

INDONESIA : Penelitian ini berawal dari munculnya kekhawatiran terhadap dunia perkuliahan pada mahasiswa penghafal Al-Qur’an yang menjalani perkuliahan sembari melakukan kegiatan menghafal Al-Qur’an. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh menghafal Al-Qur’an terhadap psychological well-being pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan quasi eksperimen. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa penghafal Al-Qur’an Rumah Tahfidz Qur’an UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dan mahasiswa Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 182 responden. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif quasi eksperimental, nonequivalent group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan psychological well-being yang signifikan antara mahasiswa Rumah Tahfidz Qur’an dan Ma’had Al-Jami’ah, serta menghafal Al-Qur’an berpengaruh secara signifikan pada psychological well-being. Hasil analisis deskriptif psychological well-being pada kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan terdapat 33 subjek kategori tinggi dengan persentase 18% dan kelompok kontrol terdapat 14 subjek kategori tinggi dengan persentase 14%. ENGLISH : This research began with concerns about university life among students who are memorizers of the Qur’an while pursuing their student. The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of Qur’an memorization on the psychological well-being of students. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The population of the study consisted of students who were Qur’an memorizers from the Rumah Tahfidz Qur’an at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and students from Ma’had Al-Jami’ah at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The sample for this study included 182 respondents. The research design used was a quantitative quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent group design. The results of the study indicated a significant difference in psychological well-being between students from the Rumah Tahfidz Qur’an and Ma’had Al-Jami’ah. Furthermore, memorizing the Qur’an was found to have a significant impact on psychological well-being. The descriptive analysis of psychological well-being in the experimental group revealed 33 subjects in the high category, representing 18% of the participants, while in the control group, there were 14 subjects in the high category, accounting for 14% of the participants.
