Abstract

INDONESIA: Hidroponik merupakan salah satu alternatif yang populer untuk memperbanyak tanaman serta dimanfaatkan dalam pertanian perkotaan. Sistem sumbu merupakan metode hidroponik yang paling sederhana. Media tanam yang biasa digunakan adalah arang sekam, rockwool dan cocopeat. Metode hidroponik ini akan diaplikasikan pada tanaman pakcoy varietas nauli f1, emone 26 dan green yang sudah dikembangkan di Indonesia. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui varietas dan pengaruh media tanam terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman pakcoy secara hidroponik. Metode penelitian ini yaitu eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap factorial terdiri dari 9 perlakuan dengan 5 ulangan menghasilkan 45 unit percobaan. Data dianalisis oleh Anova jika ada perbedaan dilanjutkan uji Duncan, kemudian diamati morfologi tanaman, suhu, kelembapan, pH, kadar nutrisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tinggi tanaman diperoleh perlakuan tertinggi rockwool + emone 26 = 4,68 cm dan terendah arang sekam + green = 2,5 cm, panjang daun perlakuan tertinggi rockwool + green = 11,30 cm dan terendah arang sekam + green = 5,3 cm, lebar daun perlakuan tertinggi rockwool + green = 8,32 cm dan terendah arang sekam + green = 4,4 cm, jumlah daun perlakuan tertinggi oleh arang sekam + emone 26 = 11,4 dan terendah rockwool + emone 26 = 5,4, panjang akar perlakuan tertinggi arang sekam + emone 26 = 20,8 cm dan terendah arang sekam + green = 10,2 cm, berat basah tertinggi rockwool + nauli f1 = 2,6 ons dan terendah arang sekam + green = 1,1 ons. Perbedaan media tanam dan varietas memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tanaman pakcoy dan diperoleh interaksi terbaik media tanam rockwool dan varietas green di tunjukan dengan peningkatan pada panjang daun = 11,30 cm dan lebar daun = 8,32 cm. ENGLISH: Hydroponics is one of the popular alternatives for plant propagation as urban agriculture. Charcoal, rockwool and cocopeat are commenly used media for hydroponic propagation and applied for Pakcoy varieties such as Nauli F1, Emone 26 and Green had been developed. This study aimeds to determine the variety and influence of the best growing media on the growth of pakcoy plants hydroponically. This research method were experimental using a factorial complete randomized design consisting of 9 treatments with 5 repeats resulting in 45 experimental units. Data were analyzed by Anova and continued by Duncan test, then observed a plant morphology, temperature, humidity, pH and nutrient levels. The results showed that the highest plant was obtained between rockwool + emone 26 with 4.68 cm and the lowest between charcoal + green with 2.5 cm, the highest treatment leaf length rockwool + green with 11.30 cm and the lowest husk charcoal + green with 5.3 cm, the width of the treated leaves terheight rockwool + green with 8.32 cm and the lowest husk charcoal + green with 4.4 cm, the number of treated leaves highest by husk charcoal + emone 26 with 11.4 and lowest rockwool + emone 26 with 5.4, highest treatment root length husk charcoal + emone 26 with 20.8 cm and lowest husk charcoal + green with 10.2 cm, wet weight terhigh rockwool + nauli f1 with 2.6 ounces and lowest husk charcoal + green with 1.1 ounces. Differences in planting media and varieties have a real influence on pakcoy plants and the best interaction between rockwool planting media and green varieties is shown by an increaseds in leaf length with 11.30 cm and leaf width with 8.32 cm.
