Abstract

This research is to analyze the revolution in class struggle caused by economy and politic of social class condition in the trilogy novels Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games. The researcher use Karl Marx’s theory about Industrialist to analyzing the social conflict in the class struggle. The researcher used qualitative descriptive method. The data contained sentences and phrase which collected by reading the entire text of trilogy The Hunger Games carefully. The data collected with technical literature by searching for key the data that contained revolution, social class conflict and economy and politic condition. Those collected data were, identifying, classifying, describing / interpreting and drawing conclusion. The result of the research is there are social class conflict such as the restrain of Capitol to District by economy (4 data) and politic (6 data) that caused revolution in class struggle with two ways, there is smooth rebellion (5 data) and hard rebellion (9 data). The final conclusion is the revolution in class struggle in trilogy novel’s Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games caused by the restrain of upper class to lower class by economy and politic.
