Abstract
The core values in the company must be built from the cultural values and ideology of stakeholders with different socio-cultural backgrounds united in a work norm and rule. In the long term, this will form an organizational culture which is an identity for the company. The Al Ma'soem Group company is a company based in Bandung that has a strong pattern of forming an organizational culture with the characteristics of Islamic values that are consistently applied in the company's operations. This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture including involvement, consistency, adaptability, and mission on employee performance with the moderation of Islamic values at the al Ma'soem Group Company. The influence of organizational culture on employee performance in the form of partial or simultaneous influence. The main theory is the theory of maslahah, that the goal of Islamic law is benefit, jalb al-mashalih wa daf'u al-mafasid, as well as corporate organizational culture built to realize benefit, namely employee welfare. Relegated to the maqashid al-Syariah theory that welfare must cover five basic objectives, namely maintaining religion, soul, lineage, property and mind. Then lowered in its application with the theory of hifdzu al-maal, that motivation to meet the needs of assets that are dharuriyat, encourages a person to improve performance. This type of research is quantitative, using a saturated sample, namely all leaders and deputy heads of divisions, units and teams. They were given a questionnaire containing statements related to organizational culture, employee performance, and Islamic values with a Likert scale of 1 to 5. There were 184 respondents consisting of various demographic backgrounds. Data obtained from respondents were then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Square (SEM – PLS) analysis. The results show that partially, involvement, consistency, and mission have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with Islamic values as reinforcement. Meanwhile, simultaneously, involvement, consistency, adaptability, and mission together influence employee performance significantly with Islamic values as a reinforcing variable. Islamic organizational culture in maslahah theory can be interpreted as an effort to achieve prosperity orientated towards the benefit of the world and the hereafter so that it motivates employees to improve their performance. The maqashid theory of Islamic organizational culture can provide clear guidelines for employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in improving employee performance. The theory of hifdzu al-maal in the context of Islamic organizational culture can be applied with the obligation to seek halal and good sustenance which will encourage increased employee performance.
