Abstract

INDONESIA : Cucumis sativus L. dapat dijadikan tanaman penyela pada lahan sawah, yang umumnya didominasi oleh tekstur liat karena selalu tergenangi dan menggunakan pupuk anorganik selama musim tanam padi. Pengurangan tekstur liat pada lahan sawah dapat diberikan bahan organik sebelum tanam seperti pupuk kandang ayam. Akan tetapi, bahan organik bersifat slow release, maka dibutuhkan bantuan mikroba dalam pupuk hayati untuk mempercepat dekomposisi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi serta dosis pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk hayati yang terbaik terhadap sifat fisik tanah, pertumbuhan serta hasil tanaman mentimun varietas suzana F1. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-Juni 2023 di Lahan Agroteknologi Kampus 2 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Metode yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial 2 faktor dan 4 ulangan. Faktor pertama berupa pupuk kandang ayam = 0 t ha-1; 10 t ha-1; dan 20 t ha-1. Faktor kedua berupa pupuk hayati = 0 ml; dan 10 ml. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pupuk kandang ayam dan pupuk hayati tidak terjadi interaksi dan hanya memberikan pengaruh mandiri. Pemberian pupuk kandang ayam dosis 10 t ha-1 atau pupuk hayati dosis 10 ml L-1 menunjukkan hasil terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan serta hasil tanaman mentimun. ENGLISH : Cucumis sativus L. can be used as intercrops plants in rice fields, in general are dominated by clay texture because they are always flooded and use inorganic fertilizers during the rice growing season. Reduction of clay texture in rice fields can be applied organic matter before planting such as chicken manure. However, organic matter is slow release, so microbial assistance is needed in biofertilizer to speed up the decomposition. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction and the best dose of chicken manure and biofertilizer on the physical properties of the soil, growth and yield of cucumber plants of the Suzana F1 variety. The research was conducted from March to June 2023 at the Agrotechnology Field Campus 2 UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The experimental design in this study was a randomized block design with factorial patterns consisting of two factors and 4 replications. The first factor was the chicken manure = 0 t ha-1; 10 t ha-1; and 20 t ha-1. The second factor was the biofertilizer = 0 ml; and 10 ml. The results showed that the use of chicken manure and biofertilizer did not interact and only had an independent effect. Application of chicken manure dose 10 t ha-1 or biofertilizer dose 10 ml L-1 showed the best results on the growth and yield of cucumber plants.
