Abstract
INDONESIA : Secara umum, kegiatan muhadharah dijadikan sebagai wadah pengembangan diri dan mental santri yang meliputi beberapa aspek, yakni untuk mencetak kader-kader muballighah dalam kehidupan di masa mendatang. Namun kenyataannya, tidak semua santri berasal dari Madrasah atau Pesantren pada jenjang pendidikan sebelumnya, dan tidak semua santri memiliki kemampuan public speaking. Keahlian ini dapat ditumbuhkan melalui proses belajar secara rutin melalui pembinaan kegiatan muhadharah, sebab kegiatan ini berperan besar dalam pengembangan kemampuan dan kreativitas para santri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembinaan kegiatan muhadharah di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ihsan dalam meningkatkan prestasi para santri. Maka dari itu dirumuskan pertanyaan berupa, bagaimana peningkatan aspek kognitif santri dalam public speaking melalui pembinaan kegiatan muhadharah, bagaimana peningkatan aspek afektif santri dalam public speaking melalui pembinaan kegiatan muhadharah, dan bagaimana peningkatan aspek behaviorial santri dalam public speaking melalui pembinaan kegiatan muhadharah. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori efektivitas komunikasi oleh Wolosin, yang mana disebutkan bahwa komunikasi akan lebih efektif bila komunikan saling menyukai. Adapun diungkapkan oleh Jalaluddin Rahmat, bahwa efektifitas terjadi melalui tiga tataran, yakni tataran aspek kognitif, afektif dan behaviorial. Paradigma yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah interpretif, salah satu paradigma non positivisme dengan metode fenomenologi dan diteliti melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini juga memakai studi kepustakaan yang bersumber pada literatur (library research). Penulis melakukan langkah-langkah pengumpulan data dengan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif data kualitatif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data (display) dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pembinaan kegiatan muhadharah sebagai kegiatan rutin pengembang potensi public speaking santri, motivasi santri sebagai penunjang afektif prestasi public speaking, dan penguatan mentalitas sebagai dampak positif dalam proses pengembangan diri santri. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memotivasi pembaca untuk mengembangkan minat dan kemampuannya dalam berdakwah hingga bisa berprestasi seperti pembahasan penelitian ini. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dijadikan sebagai informasi atau referensi tambahan bagi mahasiswa yang sedang melakukan penelitian serupa. ENGLISH : In general, muhadharah activities are used as a forum for self-development and mental development of students which covers several aspects, namely to produce muballighah cadres in future life. But in reality, not all students come from Madrasah or Pesantren at the previous level of education, and not all students have public speaking skills. This skill can be grown through a routine learning process through the development of muhadharah activities, because this activity plays a major role in the development of the abilities and creativity of the students. This study aims to determine the application of muhadharah activities coaching at Al-Ihsan Islamic Boarding School in improving the achievements of students. Therefore, questions were formulated in the form of, how to improve the cognitive aspects of students in public speaking through coaching muhadharah activities, how to increase the affective aspects of students in public speaking through coaching muhadharah activities, and how to improve the behaviorial aspects of students in public speaking through coaching muhadharah activities. The theory used in this study is the theory of communication effectiveness by Wolosin, which states that communication will be more effective if communicants like each other. As stated by Jalaluddin Rahmat, that effectiveness occurs through three levels, namely the level of cognitive, affective and behavioral aspects. The paradigm used in this study is interpretive, one of the non-positivism paradigms with phenomenological methods and is examined through a qualitative approach. This research also uses literature studies sourced from literature (library research). The author carried out the data collection steps through observation, interview and documentation techniques. This study uses descriptive analysis of qualitative data which includes data reduction, data presentation (display) and conclusions. The results of this study show that the development of muhadharah activities as a routine activity for developing the potential of public speaking students, Student motivation as an affective support for public speaking achievements, and strengthening mentality as a positive impact on the process of student self-development. The results of this research can motivate readers to develop their interest and ability in da'wah so that they can excel as discussed in this research. In addition, this research is also used as additional information or reference for students who are conducting similar research.
