Abstract

INDONESIA : Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh fenomena pada korban pelecehan seksual yang seringkali tidak dapat melawan ketika sedang mengalami pelecehan seksual. Adapun fenomena ini disebut dengan tonic immobility yang merupakan keadaan yang sering terjadi pada korban pelecehan seksual berupa ketidakmampuan korban untuk bergerak atau punmelawan ketika pelecehan seksual terjadi. Dengan adanya respon semacam ini tidak jarang beberapa dari korban pelecehan seksual mengalami self blaming atau penyalahan terhadap diri sendiri atas peristiwa pelecehan seksual yang mereka alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tonic immobility terhadap self blaming pada wanita korban pelecehan seksual di Bandung Raya. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kuantitatif. Subjeknya merupakan 116 wanita korban pelecehan seksual di Bandung Raya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuisioner secara online dan menggunakan google form. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan tonic immobility terhadap self blaming pada korban pelecehan seksual dengan nilai signifikansi <0.05 yaitu 0.00 < 0.05 (dengan taraf 5%). Adapun besar pengaruh Koefisien Determinasi yaitu sebesar 33.4%. Sehingga pengaruh tonic immobility terhadap self blaming adalah sebesar 33.4% dan sisanya sebesar 66.6% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain diluar variabel yang dijelaskan. ENGLISH : This research is motivated by the phenomenon of victims of sexual harassment who often cannot fight back when experiencing sexual harassment. This phenomenon is called tonic immobility which is a condition that often occurs in victims of sexual harassment in the form of the victim's inability to move or even fight when sexual harassment occurs. With this kind of response, it is not uncommon for some of the victims of sexual harassment to experience self-blaming for the sexual harassment they experienced. This study aims to determine the effect of tonic immobility on self-blaming in women victims of sexual harassment in Bandung City. The method used in this research is quantitative analysis. The subjects were 116 women victims of sexual harassment in Bandung City. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires online and using the Google form. The data analysis used is simple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of tonic immobility on self-blaming in victims of sexual harassment with a significance value <0.05, namely 0.00 <0.05 (with a level of 5%). The large influence of the Coefficient of Determination is equal to 33.4%. So that the effect of tonic immobility on self-blaming is 33.4% and the remaining 66.6% is explained by other variables outside the variables described.
