Abstract

ENGLISH : The professionalism of madrasah education staff is an important factor in the smooth process of education in improving the quality of madrasahs. Therefore, madrasah really needs competent and professional education personnel for their duties. To measure the extent to which professional madrasah education personnel carry out their duties, supervision is needed by managers who are none other than the head of the madrasah himself. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the supervision of the head of the madrasah and the professionalism of madrasah education staff in the State Aliyah Madrasah in Sumedang Regency. This study used a quantitative approach with a correlation descriptive method. The research data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 32 respondents. The results showed that: there is a relationship between the supervision of the head of the madrasah and the professionalism of madrasah education staff which is shown in the correlation value of 0.00 < 0.05 with a coefficient value of 0.719 which means which means having strong, positive and significant relationships. The contribution of supervision of the head of the madrasah to the improvement of the professionalism of education personnel was 51.6%. The results of the T test show a significant value of 0.00 < 0.05 which means that the working hypothesis (Ha) proposed by the researcher is accepted. INDONESIA : Profesionalisme tenaga kependidikan madrasah menjadi faktor penting dalam lancarnya proses pendidikan dalam peningkatan mutu madrasah. Maka dari itu, madrasah sangat memerlukan tenaga kependidikan yang kompeten dan profesional terhadap tugasnya. Untuk mengukur sejauh mana tenaga kependidikan madrasah profesional terhadap tugasnya, maka dibutuhkannya supervisi oleh manajer yang tidak lain adalah kepala madrasah itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara supervisi kepala madrasah dengan profesionalisme tenaga kependidikan madrasah di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri di Kabupaten Sumedang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif korelasi. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui penyebaran angket kepada 32 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: adanya hubungan antara supervisi kepala madrasah dengan profesionalisme tenaga kependidikan madrasah yang ditunjukkan pada nilai korelasi 0,00 < 0,05 dengan nilai koefisien 0,719 yang berarti memiliki hubungan yang kuat, positif dan signifikan. Kontribusi supervisi kepala madrasah atas peningkatan profesionalisme tenaga kependidikan sebesar 51,6%. Hasil uji T menunjukan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 yang berarti hipotesis kerja (Ha) yang peneliti ajukan diterima.
