Abstract

INDONESIA : Tuntutan tugas mengharuskan mahasiswa harus memiliki perfeksionisme dalam mengerjakannya. Tugas tersebut dapat diselesaikan dengan baik apabila mahasiswa dengan harga diri yang tinggi sebaliknya mahasiswa akan terhambat dalam mengembangkan potensi dirinya jika ia memiliki harga diri rendah. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan harga diri dengan perfeksionisme mahasiswa yang menjalankan praktikum di Fakultas Psikologi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bersifat non-eksperimental melalui rancangan korelasional. Berdasarkan sampel yang didapat, sebanyak 267 mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Psikologi Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung dengan tingkat kesalahan sebesar 5%. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan pada variabel harga diri berdasarkan indikator variabel dari Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI) yang di modifikasi dan variabel perfeksionisme berdasarkan indikator variabel dari Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale Hewit dan Flett (HMPS) yang di modifikasi, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Teknik analisa data menggunakan Uji Korelasi Spearman. Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi didapatkan bahwa Harga diri memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan perfeksionisme pada mahasiswa yang sedang/pernah menjalankan praktikum psikologi di Fakultas Psikologi UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. ENGLISH : The demands of the assignment require students to have perfectionism in doing it. The task can be completed properly if students have high self-esteem, otherwise students will be hampered in developing their potential if they have low self-esteem. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-esteem and the perfectionism of students who carry out practicums at the Faculty of Psychology UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This research is non-experimental quantitative research using a correlational design. Based on the samples obtained, there were 267 active students at the Faculty of Psychology, Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, with an error rate of 5%. The research instrument used on self-esteem variables based on variable indicators from the modified Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (CSEI) and perfectionism variables based on variable indicators from the modified Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale Hewit and Flett (HMPS), with data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the Spearman Correlation Test. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, it was found that self-esteem has a significant relationship with perfectionism in students who are/have carried out psychology practicums at the Faculty of Psychology UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung.
